Detour Auto has announced the launch of its headlight restoration wipes—LensBoost.
As explained by the company, this improved version of wipes is designed to be the “fastest, easiest and most affordable way to restore oxidized headlights”. The product features a new applicator and formulation and is being offered in retail-ready packaging.
The usage of the product is easy since the technician needs to simply wipe both lenses of a vehicle with the ready-to-use applicator and let them dry. Featuring a Quick-Dry technology, it takes just a few minutes to apply LensBoost and less than 15 minutes to cure. One wipe is to be used to restore two lenses (one car). Detour Auto notes that the product is not only non-toxic, odourless and silicon-free but also eliminates the need for taping, sanding, buffing or any other tools for the restoration process.
LensBoost creates a strong UV/weather protective coating that can last up to two years. It is designed to make the lenses clear and shiny again.
